Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Renae Williams.

Founder of CoCoBella Natural, author of Living Out Loud, educator, and your biggest cheerleader when it comes to embracing your natural hair.

But long before I formulated my first product or built a community of women learning to love their curls, I was simply a woman searching for answers.

Years ago, I began experiencing health challenges that forced me to take a closer look at every part of my lifestyle—including the products I was using on my hair. At the same time, my hair was thinning dramatically, and I knew I had a decision to make. I could continue chasing an appearance that no longer served me, or I could choose a healthier path.

I chose my health.

On June 16, 2012, I did my Big Chop.

Like many women beginning their natural hair journey, I quickly realized I knew very little about caring for my curls. I didn't understand moisture, ingredients, styling techniques, or even the language of natural hair care.

So I became a student.

I read.

I researched.

I experimented.

I learned.

What started as a personal journey soon became a passion for helping other women navigate theirs.

I began sharing what I was learning through blogging, YouTube, and a growing community of women encouraging one another to embrace their natural beauty. Along the way, I discovered something that continues to shape everything I do today:

Hair is rarely just about hair.

For many women, it's connected to confidence, identity, healing, and how we see ourselves.

That's why I didn't create CoCoBella Natural simply to sell products.

I created it to educate, encourage, and empower women to care for their hair with confidence while choosing ingredients that support healthier hair.

Over the years, that mission has grown beyond anything I imagined. Today, CoCoBella Natural proudly serves women across all 50 states and several countries, offering clean, moisture-focused products designed to help textured hair thrive.

If you've spent any time in my community, you've probably heard me say one thing over and over again:

Hydration is the foundation of healthy hair.
